While driving down I get a call from my oldest wanting to know if he thought Susan would mind if he and two of his friends could come down and stay with them. Susan being the great friend that she is told them yes (5 guests). Mitch feeling left out begged and begged Dennis to come join us. Finally, I just bought him a ticket to join us after church on Sunday for Sunday dinner and a Monday morning bike ride with Mitch and a trip home early afternoon to finish work (6 guests). Now that is a TRUE FRIEND!! We had a great time. Andrew got to see his friends Fri. night - Sun. morn., join us for church and hang with the LaBar gang till Mon. morning. Brian got to bring two friends to SoCal with free lodging and GREAT Sunday breakfast & dinner, beach time, shopping, and meeting new friends. Dennis got to not feel guilty about missing church, got most of his work done & had a good time hanging with his bro Mitch. And Me, well I got to hang with my favorite boys (besides my own), see my oldest (nice surprise), have Susan time (which is good for the body, spirit, & mind), and most important enjoy Family & Friends!!
This is the shot I took while relaxing in their backyard. So gorgeous, right? Of course this was after our traditional bookstore run. Lots of new reading material, yeah!
And finally this is the shot of the traditional RISK Game Garrett always makes us play. He finally won his first game. Congrats Garrett!! Unfortunately, I was unable to get a picture of the traditional chess game between Dennis & Cameron.
