Ahh, beautiful, relaxing, peaceful Park City. Dennis and I arrived Friday night and did our usual, stop by WalMart, get some snacks, check out the $5 movie bin, and then head up to the condo for major relaxation. Saturday we slept in and then headed to downtown to explore. We bought another picture at Images of Nature for the office conference room called "Among the Redwoods". You can either check it out on his site or stop by the office to see it in person. We love the photos Thomas Mangelsen takes. We also made our routine stop at Cows. We love to go in and see what fun thing we can pick up for our "Cow" boys, JJ & Carson. After some shopping and lunch it was time for some serious nap time for Dennis and reading time for me. We then headed down the hill to Murray to see Brian's play. After the play we all had a late night dinner and headed back to Park City. Sunday was a relaxing day with Brian. We even went to the Visitors Ward in Park City. That was an experience! The youth speaker told us that it was a good thing Lehi left Jerusalem because then all the Israelites were saved and the Babylonians were destroyed. The first adult speaker was a missionary who gave us the Reader's Digest version of the whole Book of Mormon in mumble and did you know that Jarom is pronounced Gerome! The last speaker was an elderly gentleman from Germany. Let's just say he was very colorful (you'll have to ask Dennis or Brian about his talk!! "What a loser! In the name of ......."). Let's just say we went to church and will be blessed for it. As for Monday, despite my best efforts, we sent Dennis to the airport to get back to work. Even though his break was cut short, he did get in some good R&R. I stayed until Tuesday as planned and spent Monday with Brian. Went and saw his play a third and final time. It gets better ever time I see it. It was good to get home. I always miss the boys (the dogs, of course)! P.S. Thanks Holt's for the use of the condo!!
