One might ask, what does one do in Cedar City? Good question, not much! The first weekend I did see a great play that one of the students wrote called "Shhhh, it's a secret", was banned from another play because Brian felt it would shock me with it's coarseness (so why is he going?), went grocery store shopping, cleaned his kitchen, cooked enchiladas, cleaned his kitchen again, went out to eat with his friends, went to church, met the girlfriend and generally had a nice visit.
The next weekend we escaped Cedar and went to St. George and spent money. Got Brian new cell phone, got Brian new sunglasses, got Brian books, went grocery shopping again, etc. Sunday I cleaned his kitchen again, made a yummy pork roast dinner, and cleaned his kitchen again. Luckily I made it home before I was broke, barely!

The third weekend I made him drive the truck to Vegas to save myself 2-1/2 hrs of driving. We (myself, Brian & Kami) hung out Saturday night and went to Ellis Island for the best bbq ribs ever. We had to wait 2 hrs., but it was worth it. Then did my favorite, walked to the Bellagio to watch the water show and check out the gardens inside. Sunday we saw the lions at the MGM, I sent the kids on the rollercoaster at New York, New York (at $14 ea. I skipped because I've been on it before and I get to go to Disneyland next weekend) and just walked around. I dropped them off at the St. George shuttle at the airport and headed home.
In between all this, Brian was actually home for 5 days during spring break. We're excited that he's coming home for the summer too. Lots of Brian time in 2009!!
